Pippin is Sweep's older brother and was trained to all his titles, except for the OTCH, by his owner Shirley Tipsword of Park Forest, IL. Shirley did not have the time to campaign Pippin for his OTCH, and I did not have a dog to show at the time. So Pippin came and spent just over a year at Heelalong, where he was known as the "crack" dog. He spent his free time looking for mice in cracks in the cement.

Pippin has probably been featured in more local TV segments than any border collie in history. Somehow his prowess with mice hunting gained him notoriety, and his talents have been shown on local TV from coast to coast. He has usurped the featuring of many a Best in Show dog with his mouse hunting talent, much to the consternation of the BIS handler!
